Crafting Intelligent Interfaces: AI-Powered Web & UI/UX Designing Internship for Fatima College Students

At Pydun Technology, we recognize the growing importance of intelligent, user-centric digital design. To align academic learning with evolving industry demands, we conducted a 30-Hour intensive internship in AI-Powered Web & UI/UX Designing for 6 highly motivated M.Sc. Information Technology students from Fatima College, beginning on 2nd May 2025.

This internship was designed to blend aesthetic web design with emerging AI trends, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of how intuitive interfaces can be built and enhanced through artificial intelligence. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of UI/UX principles, responsive design with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, and advanced features like AI-generated design suggestions, color scheme recommendations, accessibility enhancements, and predictive user behavior tools.

Students engaged in hands-on sessions, using tools like Figma for wireframing and prototyping, while also exploring how AI can be used to automate layout optimization, personalize user flows, and increase usability. They worked on focused design challenges that required not just technical skill, but user empathy and creative thinking.

The small batch size allowed for personalized mentorship, where each participant received individual feedback, project support, and guidance on developing their own mini-design prototype. Their final projects were not only visually engaging but also integrated intelligent elements like smart search boxes, chatbot UI, and adaptive navigation.

The students demonstrated remarkable creativity, a strong understanding of user needs, and a growing command over design tools. Their transformation from learners to design thinkers was evident in the outcomes, and the internship received positive feedback from both the students and their department.
