A New Beginning: First Internship Batch Commences at Pydun

In 2024, we identified a growing industry need — the widening gap between theoretical academic education and the practical skills required by the technology sector. To address this, we launched a dedicated training and internship initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals.

On June 17, 2024, we proudly commenced our first internship batch, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This inaugural program welcomed five enthusiastic students from Velammal College of Engineering, Madurai, for a one-month internship focused on Web Development. The internship ran from June 17 to July 17, 2024, and was structured to provide participants with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development.

During the course of the internship, students were introduced to modern web technologies, frameworks, and development tools. They gained practical experience working with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, while learning the essentials of version control and deployment workflows. More importantly, they were exposed to the software development lifecycle from planning and design to implementation and testing.

Each intern was guided by our experienced in-house team, receiving structured mentorship and regular feedback. Through interactive sessions and collaborative exercises, they not only built responsive and functional web applications but also developed essential soft skills, including teamwork, communication, and professional conduct in a technology workplace.

This first batch brought fresh perspectives and an inspiring level of commitment. Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn created a positive impact across our team and reaffirmed our belief in the value of structured, hands-on learning experiences. Their successful completion of the program laid the foundation for what would become a growing part of Pydun Technology’s mission — to bridge the gap between education and industry through focused, real-world training.
